What care is provided at Sector 43?
Gracias Living provides assisted living, dementia and Alzheimer’s care, post-operative recovery, stroke rehabilitation, palliative care and short-term respite stays. Support is matched to each resident after a clinical assessment rather than sold as a fixed package.
Assisted living
For seniors who need help with daily activities but not hospital-level care. This covers personal care, medication management, mobility support, meals, housekeeping and daily activities, with nursing available at any hour. Read more about assisted living at Gracias Living.
Dementia and Alzheimer’s care
Around 70 per cent of Gracias Living residents live with dementia, which means the care team works with the condition every day rather than occasionally. Care is built around a predictable daily routine, individualised care plans, behavioural monitoring and meaningful engagement. Medical oversight for residents living with dementia is led by Dr Chitra Anand, Head of Medical Services, who has more than 38 years of clinical experience.
This figure reflects the current resident composition across Gracias Living and may change over time. Individual experiences and outcomes vary with the person’s stage of dementia, health and care needs. Read more about our dementia care approach.
Post-operative and stroke recovery
Short-stay recovery support after surgery or a stroke, with nursing supervision, medication management and daily monitoring while the family plans the return home. See post-operative care and stroke rehabilitation.
Short-term and respite stays
Families use short stays after a hospital discharge, or when a primary caregiver needs to travel. The minimum stay is one month. Stays under 11 months are treated as short-term; longer stays involve an 11-month contract. See short-term stay.
How much does it cost?
Monthly fees start at ₹66,500 for twin sharing and rise with room type and level of care. The final figure is confirmed after a clinical assessment of health, mobility, daily support needs and cognitive well-being.

How is the level of care decided?
A clinical assessment before admission places each resident on one of three levels of support. This is what determines the final monthly figure, alongside room type and duration of stay.
| Level | Who it is for |
|---|---|
| Fundamental care | Seniors who need minimal support with daily activities |
| Intermediate care | Seniors who require regular assistance and closer supervision |
| Extensive care | Seniors who need comprehensive support, 24×7 nursing or advanced medical care |
Medical oversight is led by Dr Chitra Anand, Head of Medical Services, with more than 38 years of clinical experience. Her role covers behavioural management, medication review, care-plan guidance, family consultations, emergency-care protocols and ongoing clinical reviews.

Sector 43 or DLF Phase 3?

When this may not be the right choice
Moving a parent into residential care is not always the correct decision, and saying so saves families a difficult visit that leads nowhere.
- Home care may still be right if your parent is safe and comfortable in familiar surroundings, their daily-care and medication needs are predictable, family or professional caregivers can provide consistent support, and wandering or falls are not creating immediate safety risks.
- Cost is a genuine barrier for many families. Fees start at ₹66,500 a month and a refundable security deposit of ₹3,75,000 is payable at admission. If that is beyond what your family can sustain, a home-based caregiver arrangement or a trust-run facility will serve your parent better than a short stay here that has to end early.
- Acute medical needs belong in a hospital. We provide nursing care and medical supervision, not emergency or intensive care. If your parent needs active hospital treatment, that comes first; residential care is appropriate afterwards, during recovery.
- Fully independent seniors who need no daily assistance are usually happier in their own home or in an independent living community, where the support on offer matches what they actually want.
Tell us honestly what your parent needs when you call. If we are not the right fit, we will say so rather than book a visit.
Visit the Sector 43 residence
Visiting hours are 10 am to 6 pm. Meet the care team, see the rooms and understand the daily routine before you decide anything.
