The moment families start looking

It rarely starts with a big decision. It starts with small things. A missed tablet. A fall nobody saw. A phone call where your mother sounds a little too quiet.

Most families in Gurgaon juggle work, children and long commutes. Your parent may live in another city. You love them deeply, and you still cannot be there every hour.

Looking for help does not mean you failed. It means your parent now needs more hands than one home can give.

What is a luxury old age home?

A luxury old age home is a residential home for seniors that pairs a comfortable, well kept living space with close personal care. That means trained nurses and caregivers on every shift, a care plan for each resident, fresh meals, daily activities and regular updates for the family. The best ones measure luxury in attention, not decor.

What luxury means at Gracias Living

Six details our families notice first. Each one is part of an ordinary day here.

7 am

Bedside tea to start the day

Tea arrives in the room each morning. Then breakfast, a nurse’s check and a day at your parent’s own pace.

1 suitcase

Arrive with just a suitcase

Residents bring clothes, toiletries and their own medicines. We arrange the rest. Favourite photos and personal things are welcome, so the room feels like theirs.

2 min

Help in two minutes

Every room has an emergency call system. Staff respond within two minutes, and an ambulance reaches the door in five minutes or less.

4 hrs

Your own doctors, kept

Residents stay with their treating doctors through video consults and follow ups. We arrange any medical equipment needed within four hours.

24×7

Someone close, day and night

Nurses and caregivers work every shift. At night, a nurse and caretaker make rounds, and personal caretakers stay in the room with residents who have one.

Daily

Family, always in the loop

Each family gets a WhatsApp group with our nurses and care team. At least one photo or video goes in every day, and vitals records are shared on a drive.

A day at Gracias Living

Good days have rhythm. Here is what a typical one looks like for a resident in assisted living.

  1. Morning. Tea, a check and a gentle start

Bedside tea at seven. A nurse checks vital signs and gives morning medicines on time. Caregivers help with bathing and dressing, at the resident’s pace.

  2. Midday. Fresh food and good conversation

Fresh vegetarian meals, served with care. Residents who need help eating get it, quietly and with patience.

  3. Afternoon. Rest, games and a busy mind

A nap for some. Cards, carrom and indoor games for others. Activities that keep the mind active.

  4. Evening. A walk and a call home

Evening walks in the park. A photo or video goes to the family WhatsApp group, so children see the day for themselves.

  5. Night. Calm rooms and steady rounds

The night nurse and night caretaker make their rounds. Every room has a call system, and help arrives within two minutes.

A note from our cofounder

I often spend time with our residents. We sit, talk and play cards. Again and again, they tell me they missed moments like these at home.

That says everything about what we build. Families give their parents love. We add time, skill and attention, every hour of every day.

Our goal is clear. We want to build India’s most loved senior care brand, one resident at a time.
